Live Edge Oak Chopping Board – 490 x 331 x 41mm

There is so much natural drama packed into this single slab of oak. When I was prepping this piece, the sheer contrast in the wood immediately jumped out—you have a striking, dark anchor of heartwood running right down the middle that splits into beautiful golden grain, completely flanked by two rugged, natural live edges on the sides.

At 41mm thick, this is a heavy-duty, substantial chopping board built for serious kitchen work. We’ve carved a deep juice groove along the top side to keep your countertops clean during prepping, while leaving a massive, clear workspace for chopping. Down in the corner, there's a lovely cluster of pip oak knots that adds even more raw, organic detail. It’s a proper heirloom piece that functions beautifully as a daily carving board but looks stunning enough to be used as a massive serving platter for gatherings.

Good to Know

Because of its 41mm thickness and solid oak weight, this board sits incredibly flat and stable on your counter without sliding around. To keep it in perfect condition for years to come, just give it a wash by hand with warm water and a bit of dish soap—never leave it soaking in a wet sink or put it anywhere near a dishwasher. A quick wipe down with our board butter now and then is very, very important to keep  the oak hydrated and protected and safe to use
